-He watches with irritation as she draws back from him. His eyes train over with almost antagonistic slowness. He leans back on his elbows, sighing with frustration. Watching her from the corner of his eye, uncomfortable silence fills the space between them. The mood did not simply shift; it disintegrated. Rodolphus watched her light a cigarette, and with impatience snatched the box from her, plucking a cigarette out for himself. Lighting it, he lays down flat on the bed, his eyes averting to the ceiling. Dragging smoke repeatedly into his lungs, he allows his anger to fester, and instead of focusing it on the situation, he focused it on her. He knew very well that he had proposed; that it had been his idea. But the reality of actually following through with a wedding was becoming too overwhelming to think about in the present. He was young, too young almost, as proven by the age on that very day, to be thinking about marriage. Still he knew it was inevitable; but that did not change the fact that he wanted nothing to do with the planning.- Or never. -He says through his teeth.-

-His icy response destroys whatever fragile calmness she had created for herself in her mind. She pulls away from him entirely, lying down and curling away from Rodolphus. She had tried, oh how hard she had tried, and now she was spent. There was only so much changing she could do for him before she turned into something unrecognizable. Her voice was frigid when she spoke, shaking with barely suppressed annoyance- Well, since neither of us are in any mood to actually speak to each other, I think I’m going to take an early night. Tonight was lovely, Rodolphus. Happy birthday, my dearest fiance. -Her tone laced with sarcasm, she grabs her wand from the bedside table, snuffing out all of the candles. So much for their romantic evening-

Anonymous Question:
Two persons from each house, disregard gender, that you'd strangle without a second thought.

Strangling most certainly isn’t my favorite method of snuffing out lives, but it’ll do in a pinch.

  • Gryffindor - The whole bloody lot of them. But if I had to pick two, Molly Prewett and Frank Longbottom
  • Ravenclaw - Meadowes and Tonks
  • Hufflepuff - I don’t think a badger has ever been brave enough to cross my path, let alone to piss me off enough to want them dead.
  • Slytherin - Surprisingly, the list of people whose throats I would like to slit from my old house is the greatest out of them all. Chittock and Cloutier are probably the two most likely to incur my wrath.

black: the color of your eyes, of your hair, of your heart, of the snake on your arm. (sometimes you like to think it’s the colour of your decaying, rotting human soul). you drown in it; you drown in leather dresses and skirts and bodies your mother disapproves of and cissy clicks her pretty pink tongue at. your favorite is your thick, jewelled choker; wound tight around your neck as a permanent battle wound, its black jewels drip onto your white skin like blood.

ribbons, silk, pearls - you leave them all for narcissa. you seize the darkest, richest lace and leather; the spiked, highest heels (dangerous ones which stab the earth with every step you take); the biggest jewels and the tight corsets, for you are bellatrix, warrior from birth.
